Framed within the context of pre-service EFL teacher education, the book aims to explore the significance of literary texts in promoting diverse perspectives for examining the social, cultural, and ethical dimensions of education. The volume aims to invite readers to move beyond the boundaries of traditional teaching methods towards a pedagogy that engages in dialogue with culturally responsive teaching, sustainability, emotional intelligence, gender, identity, and social justice.
